Vision
Focused On Restoring
Sight…
The Northwest Lions Foundation is dedicated to restoring sight to the blind. Whether it is through worldwide cornea transplantation through Lions World Vision Institute or helping a local high school student see to finish school, the Northwest Lions Foundtion is here to help Washington and Northern Ihaho Lions clubs serve their communities.
The Fondation offers matching funds to local Lions Clubs through its Patient Care Grant program for sight related costs that cover everything from seeing–eye dogs to braille readers to prosthetic eyes — The Northwest Lions Foundation will match, dollar for dollar, expenditures made by Lions clubs to help low–income individuals get sight and hearing treatment they otherwise can not afford.
Forms, Instructions And Resources
IMPORTANT! Applications for grants from the Patient Care Grant Program must be submitted through a Lions Club. The Northwest Lions Foundation can not accept or respond to grant applications from any person or entity other than a Lions club located in Washington or Idaho — You are not eligible for a Patient Care Grant unless you have a Lions club sponsor your application.
There are nearly 400 Lions clubs in Washington and Idaho. You can find a Lions Club in or near your community on the Lions Clubs International website.
